Refractive Socks

Designer: Kristy Howell

These socks are worked toe-up to use up every bit of handspun yarn. The refracting wave pattern is somewhat illusory – on the chart, it appears that the stockinette portion is wandering back and forth on the ribbed portion, but on the sock the ribbed portion appears to be wandering on the stockinette portion.
