Cook While You Spin : New Year’s Eve

The Romans sure did love a good party, and celebrating the New Year began with them. They dedicated the day to Janus, the god of gates, doors, and beginnings. With most of the world following a Gregorian calendar, New Year’s Eve has become a universal time of merrymaking.

New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to throw a party, and an easy way for someone new to entertaining to dip their toe in the pool. Because NYE parties generally begin late, there is no need for a formal dinner. Put out some tasty snacks, keep the drinks flowing, and let the clock provide the entertainment.
