A quirky, whimsical, brightly-striped stocking cap, great for a day on the slopes with skis or your snowboard, or when participating in any outdoorsy, Seussical activity.
Materials: About 200/225/250 yds [180/205/230 m] of self-striping worsted-weight yarn.
Yarn Details: This is a chained-ply, worsted weight yarn; single was spun forward-draft style from 100% merino wool roving, 12 wpi.
Needles: Size 6US & 7US [4mm & 4.5mm] DPNs or circulars for knitting in the round.
Gauge: 5 sts per 1” [2.54cm] in stockinette stitch.
Finished Sizes: small: 18” [45.7 cm]/ medium: 19.25” [49 cm] / large: 22.5” [57 cm] circumference.
Other: tapestry needle for darning in ends, stitch marker.
