Designer: Jennifer Leigh
This is the pattern for my ideal winter hat. Loose enough not to completely flatten my hair, long enough to cover my ears, easy to smush into a coat pocket, and soft against my skin. The brim’s attractive stitch pattern makes a thick fabric and won’t roll. The top has subtle texture from the thick and thin yarn which makes the plain stockinette fabric interesting but more understated than a complicated lace or cabled design.
