Here’s an update of my progress:
I decided on the Sidewinder Cowl. I decided it was time to break out of my typcal pattern of spinning lighter-weight yarns. The fibre I chose is FatCatKnits Falkland, in the Buster colourway, which is fun and lively.
I divided the roving into two equal sections (cross-wise) and split one of them into narrow strips to shorten up the colour transitions. It came out about aran weight, 227 yards, 4 oz.
I’m really looking forward to casting on! The yarn is currently on the drying rack. I’m aiming for tomorrow.
