This lightweight lace cowl can be worn loosely around the neck or pulled up over your head to keep the ocean winds out of your hair while wandering the beach looking for seaweed treasures.
Materials: About 350 yards of lace weight wool.
Yarn Details: 2-ply hand-spun from luxury batts, 350 yds [320 m] per 2.5 oz [70 g], 21 wpi, 2240 ypp.
Needles: US5 (3.75 mm) 16” circular needle or DPNs.
Gauge: 6 sts per 1” [2.5 cm] measured in Kelp Lace Pattern, unblocked.
Finished Size: 26” [66 cm] around, lightly blocked.
Other: Tapestry needle for darning.
