A textured diamond pattern graces the top of these mitts, named for Friedrich Mohs, inventor of the Mohs Mineral Scale, which of course, lists diamonds as the hardest mineral around. Diamonds are everyone’s friend with these mitts.
Materials: Approximately 150 yds [138 m] of sportweight yarn.
Yarn Details: A 2-ply yarn, spun long-draw from BFL/Silk Roving. Approximately 13 wpi.
Needles: Size 2US [2.75mm] DPNs or circulars.
Gauge: 6 stitches per 1” [2.54cm] in stockinette stitch.
Finished Sizes: S/M – 8” [20.5 cm] around hand; M/L – 9” [23 cm] around hand.
Other: tapestry needle for darning and a small amount of waste yarn.
