Teriyaki Steak

Serves 5-6

It’s not totally inclusive, since it’s intended to be served over cooked rice or noodles, but I cook rice in my electric steamer, which is really easy. It would probably be really good just piled on a crusty sandwich roll, too.

Ingredients

2 to 2.5 pounds boneless chuck
2 Tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed
Hot cooked rice or pasta for serving

Instructions

Cut steak into 1/8″ slices.

Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

Place meat in crock pot; pour sauce over.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Serve over hot cooked rice or pasta.
