When walking through the local food co-op yesterday, spring hit me right between the eyes. Asparagus AND strawberries. I may have swooned a little. This month we will grab those flavors for a make ahead strata and a simple strawberry dessert. Radishes are also in season now, and a salad made with bright, peppery radishes and thinly sliced asparagus complete a perfect springtime meal. Both the entree and dessert will benefit from being prepared the night before or the morning of the meal, leaving you precious daylight hours to work with colorful fibers.
